SCAS Announces New Fellows for the Academic Year 2024-25 (2)

Today, we are delighted to announce the names of two further scholars who will be Fellows-in-residence
at the Collegium during the next academic year (2024-25). Some Fellows will be in residence during the
entire academic year, whereas others will be at the Collegium either during the autumn or the spring
semester.

Further names will be announced throughout the spring.and summer.

Mònica Ginés Blasi, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow, Institut d’Asie
Orientale, ENS de Lyon

During her time at SCAS as a Barbro Klein Fellow 2024–2025, Dr Ginés Blasi
will work on the project “Concealing Intermediaries: Global Networks of Chinese
Indenture and Human Traffic (1830–1930s)”, which will provide a new methodo-

Karolina Watroba, Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Modern Languages, All
Souls College, University of Oxford 

Karolina Watroba will be working on her third book, provisionally titled World
Literature in Weimar Germany: Texts, Authors, Institutions
